CONSTRUCDEAD Begins Recording New Album
August 16, 2007Swedish metallers CONSTRUCDEAD have issued the following update:
"So, today we are going down to Helsingborg to start recording our new album! We will be recording in the DARKANE studio, along with Peter Wildoer and Klas Ideberg. We'll try to keep the site updated as possible as we can, and tell you about the progress. Anyway, it's gonna be great to finally record this album and I'm sure it will turn out great!!!"
Songtitles set to appear on CONSTRUCDEAD's fourth album include "Cataclysm", "Transfixed", "My Haven", "Tragic Kingdom", "A Godess Breaches Through Me", "Spiritual Shift", "The One Beside Me" and "No Exit".
The band previously stated about the new material, "I think that there will be something for everyone on this album. Most of the material though, is very fast, heavy and hard. But we managed to squeeze in a few melodies here and there as well. I can guarantee some serious blasting!!!"
CONSTRUCDEAD recently parted ways with drummer Erik Thyselius (TERROR 2000) and bassist Viktor Hemgren. No reason was given for their departures.
CONSTRUCDEAD's third album, "The Grand Machinery", was released in September 2005 via Black Lodge Records. The CD was recorded at Fear and Loathing Studio (co-owned by CLAWFINGER and MESHUGGAH) with producer Jocke Skog.
